Job Title: Vice President, Software Engineer

Job Duties: Hands on development while leading other developers to build our next generation ETF platform. Work with UX designers to build easy-to-use and intuitive screens that will generate user delight. Actively participate in the team’s agile delivery process, completing sprint tasks and writing high quality code, unit tests, and automated integration tests to move features to production. Provide high quality technical input to team discussions on system design, seeing efforts through to final delivery. Mentor junior team members providing code style and architectural input through pair programming, reviewing pull requests, and team meetings. Standard flex-work policy (Four days in office, one day work from home).
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Systems Engineer or related occupation. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Develop internet facing web applications using Angular 10+, JavaScript, and TypeScript; design and build using API-First principles using REST/gPRC; Develop using modern software engineering tools such as git, NPM, Maven, CICD, and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO); and Ensure error free releases through unit testing, integration testing, load testing, and mocking frameworks using tools like Cypress, Karate, and JMeter. Must have three (3) years of experience with: utilize in browser state management using NgRx; Real-time telemetry using Grafana and Splunk; separate a large web application into individually deployable micro-frontends; and experience mentoring junior staff members.
