Job Duties: Support the actuals and forecast process for weekly and monthly Assets Under Management (AUM), Net New Business (NNB), and Net New Base Fees (NNBF) Reporting, and become a contributor to the development of appropriate metrics and control framework to better manage and report AUM, Flows, Revenue and NNBF. Identify ways to improve the AUM, NNB, NNBF, Sales reporting, and Pipeline reporting processes utilizing Aladdin or IBM-Planning Analytics. Analyze trends in the business and produce detailed reports for management, highlighting key drivers of AUM, NNB, and NNBF. Help develop core analytical capabilities within Aladdin and IBM-Planning Analytics for the Assets Under Management (AUM) related processes (e.g., Organic Growth trend analysis, NNB, and NNBF reporting), using advanced quantitative techniques, and define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods. Improve communication with our clients and partners, better understand their needs, and help deliver an improved product. Support the current AUM data gathering processes including identifying opportunities for improvement and seeing them through to implementation. Support the on-boarding and reporting process for portfolios by utilizing Aladdin/ADAM, Excel, VBA/Macros, and planning tools such as IBM-Planning Analytics, Oracle Hyperion Essbase. Help colleagues across various departments (example: Operations, Technology, Client Businesses, and Finance) to build strong end-to-end business processes to improve reporting accuracy. Support tactical and strategic initiatives, including data migrations and systems/data integrations, and support system upgrades.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related and Two (2) years of experience as an Analyst, Management Information Systems; Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis; or related role. Two (2) years of experience with: PowerBI, Cognos or Tableau for reporting purposes; IBM-Planning Analytics or Oracle Hyperion Essbase for actuals, forecasting and budgeting; Translating business requirements and partnering with technology teams to solve a business problem and working with the technology team to identify a solution, design, test and ultimately release into production, and; Working with technology teams to support system upgrades for IBM-Planning Analytics. Any amount of experience with: Developing detailed annual budget and forecast models, reporting, and analytics, and; Utilizing quantitative techniques for actuals and budget to Assets Under Management (AUM), Net New Business (NNB), and Net New Base Fees (NNBF) trends; SQL and VBA macros.
