This role sits in the Partnership Activations team. The Associate will lead end-to-end co-marketing campaigns with self-directed investing platforms like Fidelity. This function will work closely with Paid, Owned, and Social Media teams, agencies, and other marketing and business partners. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded and innovative marketer who can execute across media, email and digital co-marketing opportunities. They will also lead measurement and reporting across partnership marketing efforts. This person will be a critical player in the execution of our partnerships strategy across key Direct platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Overarching co-marketing campaign strategy, devising campaigns that deliver across customer, platform and BlackRock goals
  • Brainstorming and pitch development of innovative campaign concepts for self-directed platforms that drive impact towards mutual goals, and grow partnership opportunities
  • Routine client relationship management with marketing partners at Direct platforms
  • Deep understanding of individual investors, Direct platform and BlackRock’s goals and KPIs
  • Campaign optimizations based on commercial outcomes
  • End-to-end management of paid media co-marketing campaigns, including but not limited to, strategy, infrastructure, briefing agencies, development, execution, optimizations, and measurement of impact
  • Development and ownership of email and digital programs crafted to grow brand awareness & engagement, nurture customer relationships & loyalty, and drive customer acquisition & product purchase
  • Expansion of marketing measurement capabilities and metrics across partner initiatives. Management of reporting and socialization of results and key metrics across leadership and stakeholders
  • Working closely with internal marketing teams to support execution of individual investor marketing strategy

Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in marketing campaign management, partnership, email, digital and/or paid media marketing
  • A data-driven marketer with a track-record and passion for marketing analytics, measurement, and reporting
  • Strong relationship management & project management skills, with ability to understand unique client needs and objectives to drive marketing strategy
  • Experience managing external agency vendor relationships and ability to lead multiple projects across collaborators
  • Comfort working with and coordinating many partners, both internal and external
  • Self-directed investing platform, startup, an / or performance marketing experience is viewed as a plus. Passion for investing and helping make investing easier for everyone is preferred.


 

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $137,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
